The Fairchild Spouses' Club is proud to operate and manage the Fairchild Air Force Base Thrift Shop to raise funds for our philanthropic work.

Net proceeds from sales at the Thrift Shop are used to support the community through educational scholarships for military spouses and dependants in their pursuit of higher education, as well as other charitable activities of the FSC.

Donations are gratefully accepted at anytime. Outside of store hours, donations may be left in the building entryway, between the two sets of double doors.

Volunteers are needed to help operate the shop, as well as to deliver unsellable goods. If you're interested in volunteering, please contact our Thrift Shop manager by phone at 509-247-5913.

TREASURE AWAITS

Military families move a lot. Frequent moves give you the opportunity to change your style and update your home.  One person’s old items might be considered another person's new treasure. It's the reason we see vehicles crawling through Fairchild neighborhoods, looking through discard piles on the side of the road, on bulk pick up day every month. The Fairchild Thrift Shop is a great place to find items that have been donated or consigned.  Whether you’re looking to purchase items at a low cost or are ready to pass on things to someone new, the Thrift Shop is the place to go.  There are plenty of treasures to be found.  "I absolutely adore my vintage light-up Christmas village [from the thrift shop]!... It is so sweet and in great condition!" says airman and thrift store shopper, Caroline Martinez.

Fairchild’s Thrift shop has a ton of space.  There are lots of rooms containing books, furniture, seasonal items, DVDs, puzzles, kitchen items, linens, decor, jewelry, tools, outdoor items, toys, and clothing and shoes for everyone.   Inventory changes daily.  If they don't have it today, they may have it tomorrow, keep checking back.

The Thrift Shop is open to everyone with base access and directly supports Fairchild's military family.  Your purchases become donations towards a good cause.  A large portion of the money earned from the Thrift Shop goes to The Fairchild Spouses' Club Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund gives the opportunity for dependents of military members to apply for educational scholarships. Last year the Spouses' Club awarded almost $7,000.00 in scholarship money.  Go to www.fairchildspousesclub.com to learn more about the Fairchild Spouses' Club Scholarship Fund.  A portion of the money earned at the Thrift shop also contributes to the Fairchild Spouses’ Club charitable fund, which supports charitable causes like Wreaths Across America and the local base Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.

Search no longer. This gem is the one stop shop for everything your family needs. Your military family has you covered. The Fairchild Thrift Shop is open Tuesday through Thursday from 12:00pm-4:00pm and is located between Arts & Crafts and Outdoor Rec. at 610. Depot Avenue on Fairchild AFB. To get in touch, please email tsfairchild@gmail.com or call (509)-247-5913.  Want to stay up to date on store closures due to illness or weather?  Head to the Fairchild AFB Thrift Shop facebook page.

PS:  Feel like volunteering?  The thrift shop is always looking for another pair of hands for jobs big and small. Every second is appreciated!
